Hammacher Schlemmer introduces The Wireless iPhone to TV Converter, a device that streams video or audio from a smartphone to an HDTV.
The wireless receiver simply plugs into a television's HDMI port, connects to a smartphone or tablet computer via Wi-Fi, and displays 1080p HD video or plays audio from the mobile device on the television screen.
"The Wireless iPhone to TV Converter allows large gatherings to watch iPhone videos of vacations or birthday parties on a high-definition television instead of the smartphone's 4" screen," explained Fred Berns, Hammacher Schlemmer's General Manager.
The Wireless iPhone to TV Converter uses the latest 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi standard for optimal wireless connection, it displays content in portrait or landscape modes, and for televisions that lack HDMI ports, the included MicroUSB cable enables wired connection to a larger screen.
